Description |
Vertical crayon and pencil drawing of red flower pot with tree or plant with tall flowering branches in the center. Several large red circles throughout and smaller circles in yellow, purple, black, and brown with green leaves throughout. Purple and green in pattern dashes throughout, especially toward the top. Initials "ME" in bottom right corner. Text on back: "#575" in bottom right corner; "Minnie Evans" in bottom right corner; "G-10" in top center; and several gallery inventory dates in bottom right corner. |

Originally part of the Minnie Evans Estate. Purchased by the Luise Ross Gallery in June of 1995. Sold to Private Collector after May 1999. Purchased by Luise Ross Gallery in July of 2008. Sold to Private Collector after August 2016. Sold through Slotin Folk Art Auctions and purchased by Rachel Maxwell Moore Art Foundation for the Greenville Museum of Art in April of 2018. |
